High Pressure Laser Test Cell
This High Pressure Laser Test Cell design allows the user to increase the hydraulic pressure from vacuum to more than 15,000 pisg, while controlling the temperature of the cell and sample from 0°C to more than 100°C.
The cell is part of a system that allows computer control and data collection.
SOME TYPICAL SPECIFICATIONS (each system is custom)
Maximum Pressure: about 30,000 psig (dependent on design of windows)
Cooling: Thermal-electric -0°F
Heating: Thermal-electric 100°F
Sample size: Maximum 38 mm
Thermal Couples standard is Type K; 3 total: 1 in cell wall, 2 in Sample Space
Samples: All types of Films, Quartz, Ceramic, or Sapphire, Metals up to about 1.0" OD round or square
Power: 240/110 VAC, .1 kW to 2 kW
